Time Lapse
Here are a couple of sites that provide really simple time lapse and stop motion tips.

Its all about control. The trick is to control as many variables as possible:
1. USE A TRIPOD, if you have an intervalometer even better. You can set most cameras (video and DSLR) to capture images at set intervals so that you don’t have to press the button every time.
2. manual white balance
3. manual focus
4. manual exposure
5. you may choose to let the camera determine shutter speed (this may or may not help)
6. If relying on daylight, try not to shoot on a cloudy day (although keeping your exposure and white balance consistent will help with this)
7. Carefully consider your background. If you are shooting objects, you may want to consider shooting a solid colour so that you can replace your BG in Photoshop.
8.*** Shoot tests, enough to determine how long to hold each image for so that you get the quality of motion that you need to articulate your concept.
9. Be ready for the realization that you may have to touch up your images to fix issues such as registration etc. in Photoshop
10. Have somebody help you.
Thursday November 5
Please bring your Project 2 work ready for peer and individual critiques on Thursday.
